Now another common problem with garage door remotes not functioning could be found in your wall console. Now if you have a Genie® garage door opener, and your wall console looks like this, the Genie garage door opener make sure that you look up top, where there’s a switch with a lock and unlock. What that does is it locks out your remote control frequencies also known as “vacation” mode or “lockout” switch. Make sure that the switch is moved over to the unlocked position and you are free to use your garage door remote again.
