Last month, Family Christian Doors decided to share the blessings that it had received through faithful customers, such as yourselves, by giving back to a charitable cause. The Parker Lee Project was the recipient of this donation, which was brought to us by Ms. Abby McConnell and her family who have been benefactors of the kindness and loving care that is provided by the founder of this charity and the helping hands of volunteers.
The response was HUGE and we have decided to do it again! The joy and adulation that we and many others experienced with being just a tiny part of there story, has moved us to keep the momentum going.
This month, in the aftermath of the tornadoes that ripped through Garland, Texas the day after Christmas, people lost their homes, their possessions and some even had beloved pets that were lost or missing. One such story is about two sweet, messy and scared puppies who were cared for by Kellye Robertson, the founder Paws of Love Animal Rescue! After grooming, vetting, chipping and boarding of these fur babies, all of which was free of charge, someone tried to claim them without proof or identification and Mrs. Robertson held her ground in requiring this vital information. It was a good thing she did, because eventually, the rightful owners were found and happily united with their adorable pups.
In response to Kellye and all of the Paws of Love Animal Rescue volunteers and foster families, we want to say, “Thank you”. So, we have decided to launch, again, a social media campaign on our Facebook, and Twitter pages that for every Like or Follow and Share of this article, Family Christian Doors will donate $1.00 to Paws of Love Animal Rescue.
